This workshop has been designed to be your absolute guide to the skills & knowledge to work safely in Residential Aged Care. It is an information packed 2-day comprehensive workshop which combines all of the content of our Accelerator workshop, plus extended theoretical & practical framework around complex manual handling scenarios. This would be suitable for attendees who need to know everything at once and are ready to jump right in.

There is more extensive theoretical content in this workshop. However, the primary focus of the workshop remains practical and hands-on. Participation is critical and important to get the best outcomes from the training.
We will demonstrate all of the standardised On bed & Off bed safe operating procedures & techniques covered in the Accelerator workshop, a Safe Operating procedure for the application of medical compression garments and emergency lifting devices such as the ELK or CAMEL.

At the completion of the workshop there will be adequate time to clarify learnings covered during the training as well as any additional questions you may have.
